On a sunny afternoon Friday, Fay School lost a difficult match to a highly experienced and well-coached Fenn team. The Fenn players were smart in looking for ways to force their opponents into making mistakes early in the points. The highlight for Fay was a hotly contested battle at number one singles by Fay's Kyle Jadul. Kyle played a very smart match against a two-year #1 player for Fenn and nearly came up victorious. After Kyle took a 6-5 lead in the 8 game pro-set, the Fenn #1 used his experience to squeak out some points by the narrowest of margins. Kyle should be very proud of his willingness to adapt his game to attack the relative weaknesses of his opponent.
